Scott Bikes - A Bicycle With A Heart?
"Get a bicycle. You will not regret it if you live." ~Mark Twain, Taming the BicycleFor people who have never enjoyed the thrill of travelling a bike, be it on field, the street, on the pathway or up the mountain, then they have missed something.
It is said, and it's true, that a bicycle is a kid's induction into existence and the delight of possessing those trainer wheels, the number one bicycle then everything then that delightful sensation of elation as equilibrium is achieved as well as continued. Such a delight does not dwindle during adulthood.
Cycling in every of its kinds has been with us from the 18th century and the bike as we know it progressed from 1860s. A lot of eminent manufacturers made a mark in the then latest craze of bikes.
Ski Pole And Goggle - Absolutely No!
Unfortunate, although yes it happens so, it happened to be a ski pole and a goggle that placed Scott Bikes on the mountain zenith.
1958: Ed Scott, an engineer from Sun Valley, Idaho, revolutionised skiing by introducing a tapered ski pole. 1970: he assisted motocross with a goggle, conceived solely for the sport.
Ed Scott saw the drawing in mountain biking getting higher thus in 1986 his corporation designed its first mountain bike.
Cyclists riding on the road appealing for a faster product had their prayers fulfilled with the advancement of the dynamic handlebar which showed its significance in the 1989 Tour de France made use of by the victor, US Cyclist, Greg Lemond.
Biking could turn out somewhat practically hard on a person and suspensions came a great distance to assist - Scott Bikes made an entrance the suspension fair with Unishock and afterwards won kudos following the production of Full Suspension Mountain Bikes.
Continuously looking to develop the products, Scott Bikes introduced Endorphin the first carbon mountain bike.
Endorphin left a mark in Olympic Sports and many world competition successes.
Hence, it doesn't matter whether you're a mountaineer, road racer or fun cyclist; Scott Bikes has a bike just custom-designed for you. The good thing is, you are sitting on and pedaling a superior plus machine. If there is any downside con on owning a Scott Bike, then it has to be the grief you feel for individuals who don't.
BMX Bikes: Boys or Mens??
Ok, first, I know Noting about BMX Bikes but i plan on getting one, I noticed that a 20" BMX bike i plan on buying says Boys, but it looks like a bike a person at least 20+ can ride. So, are the BMX Bikes such as this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/2008-Mongoose-R2272-20-Boys-BMX-Gravel-Bicycle-Bike_W0QQitemZ230252828624QQihZ013QQcategoryZ98082QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting), can they be ridden by men around the age of 18 or 19 around 5'11" hieght, if i adjust some things (i.e. handlebars, seats, etc.), or are these bikes only ride-able by children.
*& Ive rode previous 20" bikes in the past, nd ive had no problems with them being too small, are they the same size as regularbikes or smaller, thank you.
*And if you dont understand what im talking about, im trying to find out which bike size to get, because i think i see my size (20 inch frame) but it still says boys and im 5'11''.
i just plan on using the bike just to ride around, like a quick way to visit like the drug store insted of always using my car, I dont plan on dirt jumping or any of that stuff.

I'm thinking of taking up (bicycle) biking?
I don't get very much exercise so I was thinking of taking up road biking. I don't really know what i'm in for though...i live in a place with lots of big hills and stuff. Also I don't exactly have a road bike. I have a very old bike thats still in good condition, but it's more of a mountain bike. Anyways if anyone has any advice they can give me on biking then i'd appreciate it.

Breaking in a new bicycle/bike or bad rear hub?
I have recently purchased a new cruiser Schwinn. when i am riding the bike and i stop peddling and start coasting the bike makes funny sounds. it has a coaster break. im not sure if i have to break it in or if the back hub is bad because i usually buy higher end bikes and i only bought this one to mount a motor onto. I just re-greased the hub and the bearings and it is a little better but im still not satisfied. thanks for the help
