Hi there, I'm 14 and I wanted to know if I could get a job at a bike store?
Like I said I am 14 but i'm a interNational ride I race for wales and I've been fixing bikes at my cycling club for 2 years and I've been maintaining my own bikes since I was about 5! Please help!:)

Can I wear cycling shoes with toe clips and straps?
Well I want to go on the ride tonight but I put the SPD pedals on my old bike instead of the bike I would want to take on the ride because I want to wait to do anything with that bike's pedals until I get the shoes that work with my Speedplay pedals that I ordered. (In other words I want the SPD on my old bike and the Speedplay on my new bike. The SPD go better with the aesthetic of the old bike anyway and wouldn't look right on my Specialized, while the Speedplay would fit right in with the Specialized bike's image.) So my ultimate question is can I use my cycling shoes (Shimano M220S) http://www.socaltrailriders.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=30530&stc=1&d=1225667286 with my toe clips and straps - Topeak or something, pretty similar to these: http://bobs-bicycles.com/images/library/large/giant_67116_06_m.jpg just for tonight so I can at least feel the benefits of a stiff cycling shoe? (well at least semi-stiff because it's an MTB shoe) (Since I don't have an actual pedal wrench, and when I tried to do a pedal removal in front of the bike store with their wrench I was out there for 20min until someone came out and helped me as apparently I had the wrong technique for counter-force on the crank while using the pedal wrench and wasn't doing much of anything.)

How to fix a flat on a mountain bike?
Its $21 to fix a flat at my local (meaning 6 miles away..) bike store and im only 14, i make really little money from my side job which i like to spend on what i want. THREE times this past year i had to spend my money $21 on fixing a damn flat. [I think 13 for labor and the rest for the tube] They don't even replace the tire, they just replace the tube. SO ANYWAY i have a mountain bike with tons of gears in the back, how hard is it and how can i fix the flat and take off/put back on the rear tire and gears? I have absolutely no knowledge or experience in changing tires. Could you link a webpage or video that shows how to change MOUNTAIN BIKE tires, and please help me find one that shows how to change the back, NOT the front!! Please help I can't waste my money again! And i dont want to use the slime or gel that goes into your tires either, thanks! Also are there any REALLY REALLY thick tires i can buy? I know about puncture proof ones but i just mean really thick and sturdy, (unless there are only puncture proof ones) THANKS!!
