Barcelona Tours

Barcelona is one of the most interesting and beautiful cities on Earth. Luckily, there are dozens of tours you can take to get the most out of your trip to Barcelona, whether you're there for a week or a single day.

One of the best ways to see Barcelona if you're only stopping there for a day is to take an eight-hour sightseeing tour. These tours allow you to spend an entire morning and afternoon exploring the highlights of Barcelona, from the mountains to the famous buildings. A Barcelona day tour usually includes a walk through the Plaza de Catalunya, which is the center of the city, known for its statues and beautiful fountains. Next, stop by the Gothic Quarter to view the historic 15th century buildings like the Barcelona Cathedral. Also, a one-day tour isn't complete without a stop by the Plaza Sant Jaume, the location of all of Barcelona's government buildings. You'll get the chance to see so much on a one day tour, including the Villa Olimpica, which is home to Olympic athletes, and the Port Olimpic that you can tour on foot. The tour will include a climb up Montjuich Mountain, giving you an amazing and memorable view of the city and Barcelona's harbor. This is just what you'll see before lunch! The tour will include many more memorable sights like the Monumental Bull Ring and the well-known Cathedral Sta Maria del Mar. A one day Barcelona tour will usually conclude at the Picasso Museum.

One of the most exciting ways to get a feel of the culture in Barcelona is to try an affordable tapas walking tour. These tours combine the culture and wonderful cuisine, taking you on a fun tour of the famous tapas bars in Barcelona. The tour will teach you how to order tapas and is the best way to begin a visit to the historic city. A walking tapas tour will usually only take three hours and is completely guided, allowing you to see the famous La Bouqueria market and enjoy wine and some of the best tapas in Barcelona.

If you love an active lifestyle, consider a half-day bicycle tour of the city, which allows you to socialize with others and get an exciting view of Barcelona. These tours are perfect for visitors of all ages and can even be a great way to see the city with your entire family. You'll ride at a relaxed speed over no hills, with stops made frequently at points of interest. The tour lasts four hours and covers plenty of ground, giving you a different view of Barcelona than you'll get on a traditional tour.

An affordable and unique tour of Barcelona is the sailing cruise, which allows you to get great views of the city from the sea as you sail up and down the coast. The tour lasts two hours and gives you a wonderful picturesque view of the Cathedral, the Olympic Marina and more. Taking a sail boat and giving yourself a tour of Barcelona's coast is an exciting adventure that you won't regret.

Lastly, there's the ultimate in adventurous tours: the hot air balloon tour over the city. These tours can be a few hundred dollars but offer the best way to see Barcelona and its outlying areas. You'll enjoy a relaxing float above the city for 1-2 hours, taking in the panoramic views of the mountains, the Mediterranean Sea and Barcelona itself.

There are literally dozens of different tours you can take to enjoy your visit to Barcelona. The great thing is there's one to suit anyone's personality and tastes, allowing you to even create a custom tour for you and your party. Booking a tour in Barcelona is a great idea not just for first time visitors but those that have been to the city a hundred times; you're bound to see or hear something new each time.
