can you delay week 1 by a week and be protected the following cycle? to push period 1 week later for vacation.?
I am on ortho tri-cyclen lo and would like to make my period come one week later to avoid having it during a planned vacation. If I delay week 1 of pills of the next cycle by one week will I be protected the during the following cycle (vacation will fall on week 3 instead of week 4). I thought it might be ok since there is a period in between and since the insert says if you start new pills to use protection for 7 days. Since I will be on pills for a month and a half after delaying a new month I was hoping it would be ok. Thanks to anyone who has advice for me!
