Road Cycling
Being A Part Of A Pro Cycling Team
Pro bicycling is an exciting sport to watch, whether it is a mountain bike racing or road racing, the event is fast paced and rigorous to watch. These pro cycling teams all work together during the course of the race, even if there is only one of the individuals from the team that will ultimately win. Pro cycling teams have matching clothing and other equipment so that they look like a uniform team. Pro cycling teams are also usually sponsored by different organizations so that the uniforms are covered with advertisements by those companies.
Clothing
There are many options when a pro cycling team is choosing a uniform. One choice to make is whether to use a one piece uniform or a two piece uniform. There are pros and cons to each one, and the two piece uniform is the most often chosen. The one piece skin suit is usually chosen when there are shorter races that are being participated in. The reason for this is that the one piece suit cannot hold any snack materials like the jersey can. However, the skin suit is very aerodynamic and stays in place well during the course of the race. It is usually very breathable and keeps all the padding in place, even with the movement of the ride.
The two piece pro cycling team uniform is composed of the jersey and the bib shorts in most cases. There are biking shorts that do not have a bib attached to it, but these are not as often used for racing since they do not stay in place as well. The bib shorts in the pro cycling team uniform will match the colors of the jersey so that the entire outfit goes together. There is padding in the chamois in the shorts which help to create the comfort when riding for the individuals, whether male or female, with some different in the padding placement depending on the sex of the rider. The bibs of the shorts keep the chamois in place so that it does not get bunched up and does the best possible job for the racer. The other piece of the pro cycling team uniform is the jersey, which has a couple of variations in style also. The zipper on the jersey can go all the way to the bottom, or it can go to the abdomen or just to the chest. There can be pockets in the back of the jersey for holding snack materials for energy during a longer race, which is convenient for the racer to access while continuing to ride.

4kg fat gain in 4 days?
Hello
So I have this problem. Im 17 years old and im a road cyclist. I started with road cycling this spring and got really addicted to it and I managed to lose loads of weight by doing hardcore cycling and eating very healthy for months. I lost over 25kg and I was 69kg after my weight loss. So now that its winter soon ive bought a home trainer for my bicycle to do indoor training but since its so god damn boring I cant really do it more than 30 min a day which isnt even nearly enough and last week I couldnt hold back my carvings for cinnamon buns and crappy foods like that so I ate like 4 buns and cakes and stuff like that and somehow managed to gain over 4kg since tuesday. I only ate that crap from tuesday to wednesday and I cant understand how I managed to actually gain this much weight in such a short time. Im over 73kg now and its not like its water weight I think because I look sooo fat now I mean I look like 100 kg. My belly is huge, my thighs look fatty and I just dont understand how. Last week I was very fit and my stomach was flat and now suddenly I have gained so much weight just by eating a couple of buns this is so devastating. If it would be water weight it wouldnt look like fat right? Because I really gained real weight it seems my pants are much tighter now etc and I suddenly got loads of belly fat from not having anything just a few days ago I just dont get this and its pissing me off so hard what should I do?

Would my freshman year in high school affect me a lot?
So right now I'm very worried that I might not get into a good college because of my freshman GPA of 2.8. I experienced depression last year because of family problems and I just couldn't focus. For my second year, I'm planning to study my butt off and get at least a 3.5 GPA this time around and same goes for my last two years. I was just wondering how much the freshman year matter to a college. I am actually a very good student with good behaviors and I have a lot of respect for my elders. I just want to know if I could still make it into a school like UC Davis or University of Maryland, College Park. This problem has been hurting since the beginning of my second year so I'm scared that even if I do my best, I wouldn't be able to get accepted into a good college. I'm really concerned about it that it just keep making me thinking about it instead of doing my homework. I enjoy different sports but I enjoy road cycling the most and I read a lot of books. Also, it is very hard to get me interested, I only give my fullest attention to something that I really enjoy like accounting for example, I got an A in that class ever since I started taking it. I also know that my SAT score and extracurricular activities are really important. Every teacher I've ever had has said that I was a student with the best attitude in the class because I have empathy for everyone around me and I know how everyone feels when they are hurt. I like to make friends with unusual people. I even made friends with a kid who almost went to a Youth Detention Center and I know that he really wasn't that bad of a person. Overall, I'm just wondering if any good universities like UC Davis would accept me into their fine establishment. Thank you for reading my story and I could hope you could answer my question. I'm a sophomore this year and thank you again for reading this.
I'm also wondering if colleges look at GPA year by year or just at the overall by the end of high school.
