what are the rammifications of allowing my "points" timeshare through wyndham vacations resorts to forclose?
I've had it for just over a year. I pd 5k down, and i owe like 17k yet. It's a ten year loan i pay about 275 a month on, plus maint fees of 75 a month. I have my own home...own two decent cars..making one car payment and a mortgage pmt of course...i don't feel letting my credit score drop will hurt me...as I pay everything else, and don't plan on any big purchases...plus i have credit cards i can use already..i am not concerned about interest going up on them. I do not want this timeshare at all. Please help.

Does the hypocrisy and irony of vacation resort towns make you feel bad? Let me explain:?
If you go to the Bahamas, Thailand, Mexico, and even some place in the US the tourist resort areas are set up to accomodate visitors, especially foreigners. Vacationers see the top and best this is true with health care http://www.thaiwebsites.com/medical-tourism-thailand.asp . Yet a few miles away people live in dire poverty and they don't get the same accomodations.

That is true. I can drive in my car and see this. Yet vacation resorts advertise to visitors beauty, hospitality, and safeness. What the vacationers get is not what you get. It seems like their government pump money (which does have a return) to make you have a nice vacation. While the natives get short changed. The natives work to make them comfortable.
In my last question, someone posted that in a Thailand Hospital they had great service and that it was cheap. Well of course, because medical tourism is big for them. You are going to go to the best hospital and can afford it, the natives cannot.
So I think there is a difference between driving down the street and lounging in a lounge chair in a luxury bubble

I understand that they do provide jobs for the natives. Yet should all the money be used to make the vacation more luxurious for the vacationers, or should part of it be used to improve the conditions for the natives
